Every engagement with International Insight is conducted on the same terms: complete confidentiality, clear scope, and a commitment to delivering intelligence that is verifiable, actionable and honestly presented.
Initial conversations carry no obligation and are entirely confidential. All engagements are governed by mutual confidentiality obligations. We never disclose the identity of clients or the nature of their mandates.
Every engagement is defined by a written Letter of Engagement setting out scope, fees and timelines. We do not begin work until terms are agreed. There are no hidden costs — third-party expenses are charged at cost and itemised.
Our intelligence is only as valuable as its reliability. We do not speculate, inflate or report unverified material. Where information cannot be corroborated, we say so. Our reports are analytical, logical and honest about their limitations.
All work is conducted in full compliance with applicable law, including UK data protection legislation, anti-bribery regulations and relevant international frameworks. We do not engage in unlawful surveillance, entrapment or any improper method.
Our reports are written to be read and used — not filed. We present findings in a clear, analytical format that directly addresses the questions our clients are facing and, where possible, points towards how the situation might be resolved or progressed.
Our value depends on our discretion. We do not publicise our client relationships, seek media attention for our work, or disclose the existence of engagements without express permission. Our sources are never revealed.
You contact us — by email, telephone or the enquiry form. We discuss your situation in confidence. There is no obligation and no charge for an initial conversation. We will tell you honestly whether we can help.
If we proceed, we agree a clear scope of work and issue a Letter of Engagement setting out what we will do, when, and at what cost. Work does not begin until this is agreed and any required retainer is in place.
We conduct the engagement using our investigative methodology — human source development, focused research and analysis, and where appropriate open-source intelligence. We keep clients informed of material developments.
We deliver our findings in a clear written report, analytical memorandum or briefing — whichever format best serves the client's needs. Reports are presented directly to the client and remain strictly confidential.
All engagements are governed by International Insight's standard Terms and Conditions of Business, which cover confidentiality, data protection, intellectual property, liability and payment. These are provided with every Letter of Engagement.
Our services do not constitute legal, regulatory, accounting or financial advice. Where appropriate, we work alongside clients' existing legal and professional advisers.
